L4 is HARD in a completely NEW way. When you start out, the standing portion seems really short (all though the weighted arms are a bit tough because Tracy makes you hold out your arm while you’re doing moves with the other) but when you get to the leg work on all fours you understand why! All of the floor moves are done with some sort of arm movement combined with opposite leg movement. They are also clear progressions of moves that you saw in all of the previous levels. In the beginning I didn’t feel much of the ab work, because it was so short, but after a while of doing all of these moves I started to feel the burn in my core.
L4 comes down to balance.
I’m AMAZED at how some moves seemed SO easy on one side and how I would fall over when it came to repeating the same moves on the other side. Only one of the leg lifts actually felt like a major burn in my legs (unlike ALL of L3) but it seemed like such a mental task to keep my mind focused on each move so that I wouldn’t get distracted and lose my balance.
My goal for L4 is to be able to complete all of the moves on each side without falling over.
