It’s been a while since I posted a text post. I’ve been super busy this week and got sucked into the world of reblogging photos of shoes. And while I love colorful sneakers, that’s not why I started this blog!
I’m still loving L3, and am actually kind of sad to see it go. I ended up taking 2 full rest days this week since I had family in from out of town and I went to a wedding. As a result, I didn’t have as much control over my intake but I don’t think it set me back too much. I’ve been keeping a food journal (not counting calories) and it’s just making me more conscious overall. The number one thing I learned (or rather, confirmed) is that I eat relatively well overall, however I could control my portion sizes. In order to journal properly, I started measuring out some of my meals and I saw changes in the way my clothes fit within 48 hours. I’m not exaggerating. 48 hours. UNBELIEVABLE.
I gotta say though, on the days I rested, I MISSED WORKING OUT! I literally got antsy over missing my Tracy time. Her counting was way off in L3, but she did give guides saying “Do 40 of these,” or “Only 30 for this one!” I found that for the second week, I just paused the workout after we were done with abs and counted out all of the leg work on my own. I loved the ab work in this level and I’m really excited to see how Tracy kicks it up for L4.
ALL OF MY JEANS ARE TOO LOOSE!!! There has been a MAJOR change in my booty, it’s way more lifted. The change in my thighs has been slower, so I was really surprised at how differently my jeans are fitting. BF noticed that things were fitting differently too and actually described it as “It looks like you don’t know how to buy jeans that fit right. Like it’s not entirely that they’re the wrong size but that they’re the wrong cut.” Visually, it appears that the majority of change in my butt/thighs has occurred where the two meet. I’ll take that!
I’m leaving for my beach vacation in exactly two weeks from today, and I am SO looking forward to rocking my bikinis like never before!!
